’We used to have challenge in accessing the banking and micro-finance services because most of the banking institutions commonly operates in big towns and cities, most of the small businesses in rural villages here had problems on the safety of their business Savings and where to access micro-loans to help them successfully run their businesses. But when we heard about LANTERNS MICROFINANCE LTD, a leading financial Institution which provides micro-loans up to the grassroots level to rural poor, and they work with the village groups’ under VSLA and some selected individuals, we applied to them requesting for their services, they responded positively, by first training us on how we can manage our Savings, important of savings, loan management skills, common problems with loans and solutions to problems with loan. They also provided us with savings equipment’s like the savings box, savings pass books and loan record book. Now, our members who are running different businesses will have access to group business micro-loans to run their business successfully’’.
